In addition, incoming international students who have obtained a higher admission average ranging from 90 to 100% are subject to an increase in the amount of the scholarship of 15,000 Canadian dollars per year.
However, your estimated scholarship amount will be 60,000 Canadian dollars if you were able to maintain the average for an optimal period of 4 years.
Eligibility Requirements for Laurentian University Academic Excellence Scholarships for International Students
- First, you must be a new Laurentian University student enrolled in one of its full-time undergraduate programs
Also, you are not eligible for this scholarship if you are enrolled in certain undergraduate programs at Laurentian University.
Examples of these programs include social work and sports administration, physical activity, nursing, education, speech therapy, radiation therapy, forensics, midwifery, architecture and mechanical engineering.
- Second, you must achieve a minimum average of 80%, which equates to a cumulative grade point average of 7.5.
- Also, you are not eligible for this scholarship if you have already completed a degree program at a post-secondary institution.
NOTE: Students enrolled at Laurentian University must complete the specific details in the Academic Excellence Scholarship form. This form is used to instantly apply for the scholarship.

Dean’s Entrance Scholarship
This scholarship is open to international students with an exemption for Masters in Business Administration students.
