  (ii) State the null hypothesis(Ho) tested on the table above.


b) (i) Calculate the correlation between slope angle and soil depth using the Spearman’s Rank Correlation Coefficient (rs) formula stated as: \inline \dpi{120} \LARGE rs = 1-\frac{6\sum d^{2}}{n^{3}-n}

where rs, the Spearman’s correlation coefficient, d2 is the sqyare difference in rank, and n is the number of sites.
