The Higher Institute of Commerce and Management – HICM of the University of Bamenda is one of the colleges of the UBa which entry is via a competitive entrance examination that is organised every year.

At HICM, students who leave as job creators, not job seekers are given holistic training which meets international standards and are exposed to a huge ecosystem of economic opportunities. The school has graduated over 600 students since 2014; most of whom have been absorbed in enterprises across the country.

The institute has an ICT Center where students are trained on the latest communication technologies with chances to sit in for international certification examinations such as International Microsoft Specialist Certification.

At HICM, the world of opportunities is just so wide. Entry is by competitive entrance examination for students with Arts, Science and Commercial backgrounds at the GCE A-Level/Baccalaureate. The school runs four departments; Accounting, Management, Marketing, and Insurance and Secretariat.

Upon successful registration, you are redirected to the default login page.
Enter your email address and password and click on Sign-in.
Upon a successful sign-in, you are then presented with the online form to fill out.
Fill out the form carefully with the correct details.
After filling out the form, submit it by clicking on the submit button.
Upon successful submission, you are required to download the generated form.
Print the downloaded form.
Attach a copy of your registration fee bank receipt to the printed form and submit it where required.

Application files

The application files shall comprise the following documents:

A registration form is to be collected from the Higher Institute of Commerce and Management (HICM Bambili), Bamenda, Bambili or MINESUP Yaounde.
A certified true copy of the birth certificate dated not more than six (6) months.
GCE O/L or probatoire certificate, signed or certified by the competent boards.
A certified photocopy of Baccalaureate or GCE A/L or equivalent diploma dated not more than six (06) months. Candidates preparing for the Baccalaureate or GCE A/L for 2018 shall present their diplomas later.
A receipt upon payment of twenty thousand (20,000) FCFA as non-refundable registration fees delivered by NFC BANK S.A. following the bank code 10025-00030-17101020846-22, or Orange Money, MTN mobile money or Express union.
One self-addressed large envelope bearing stamps in conformity with the regulations in force.
