A Look Back at Previous Year’s Performance

In 2024, the national pass rate for the GCE was 60.8%, a decrease from the 67.6% recorded in 2023. This drop was largely attributed to a tightening of examination integrity measures. The O-Level recorded a pass rate of 62.5%, while the A-Level stood at 61.2%. The Centre Region boasted the highest pass rate at 66.3%, whereas the Far North had the lowest at 50.5%. Notably, denominational schools demonstrated superior performance, achieving pass rates of 84.5% at the O-Level and 86.1% at the A-Level.
