Here is why the Kenyan Government Has Increased School Fees Starting 2023. According to the new calendar, the first term will start on January 23, 2023, and end on April 21, 2023, while the second term will run from May 8 to August 11, 2023, followed by a two-week recess.
While students will have a three-day half-term vacation from June 29 to July 2, 2023, the end-of-term break will take place between August 12 and 27, 2023.
Beginning on August 28 and lasting until November 3, 2023, is the third term.
PS: Education Julius Jwan cited the extra weeks that the 2023 extended school year will provide as a rationale for switching back to the more expensive new price structure.
The leader of the National Parents Association, David Obuhatsa, urged the government to take into account the economic difficulties that all individuals and the country are currently facing and look for ways they can solve it.
